Established in 1990, Stanley House Nursery in Leyland has an enviable reputation within this region of Lancashire, for the care of children during their crucial and formative nursery and pre-school years.
The constantly achieved aims and objectives at Stanley House are to:-
Develop each child individually so that they reach their own full potential.
Provide quality child care and education and to this end, employ professional, dedicated and experienced staff.
Give priority to purposeful teaching.
Provide a warm, secure and safe environment where a friendly, happy atmosphere is created by caring, qualified, highly experienced staff.
Provide an extensive range of play equipment and materials to stimulate each child’s physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social development.
Provide a high degree of individual attention and assessment. (younger children are provided with the security they need-older children are challenged.)
View parents as partners and communicate with them effectively in the education of their children.
Promote and develop awareness of right and wrong and an acceptance and understanding of others.
Consequently, our ‘open door’ policy is appreciated by parents as they welcome the opportunity to look around the nursery and talk to staff. The proprietor or deputy is always on hand to discuss any potential issues, the child’s Health Visitor is welcome to call at the nursery, thus reducing disruption to the routines of working mothers and we offer a free introductory session to new children.
